This was taken earlier this year and actually it was my husband who was getting the oysters, I was hanging out, reading. listening to reggae and helping with quality control (by eating them as he picked them) - nothing like fresh oysters right out of the water!

Where do you get your oysters? I live in FL on the west coast. My wife and I go out and get oysters sometimes around Apalachicola Bay.

We get ours from the Indian River on the OTHER side of Florida.
Isn't it just great being out on the river and getting free food at the same time :-)
And from one OL to another, we froze some this year and they tasted great. Just put them in a plastic bowl and covered with water. Fried them up and yummmmmy!

Thanks, Pam, you too! And we also freeze ours, we put them in freezer ziplock - they don't take up as much room in the freezer.
